In order to improve the quality of clinical medicine teaching, promote the homogeneity of education and teaching, standardize the teaching of clinical probation courses, strengthen the separation system of teaching and examination, promote the integration reform of basic and clinical courses, and optimize the training program of clinical medicine specialty. In the afternoon of July 25th, the medical school organized 150 teachers from 5 teaching units, such as the people's Hospital Affiliated to the people's Hospital of China, etc., to carry out collective lesson preparation teaching and research activities in 15 courses, including internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and Gynecology and pediatrics.
In order to prepare for this collective lesson preparation activity, the Medical College Teaching Office and the Teacher Education Development Center made careful preparations.
In the second half of 2018, our teaching office began to investigate the opening and operation of clinical probation courses in sister colleges and universities, drafting relevant documents and teaching process, etc.
In July 15, 2019, the Deputy Dean called the teacher's education development center of the college to hold a meeting to discuss and implement the collective lesson preparation content, relevant implementation plan and the people responsible.
On July 18, the College invited 10 experts from the main courses of internal medicine, surgery, gynecology and obstetrics, pediatrics and diagnostics of the Affiliated Hospital of Jiangsu University and the People's Hospital of Jiangsu University to hold a symposium on the reform of clinical medicine teaching in Jiangsu University. The symposium focused on the standardization of clinical probation courses, examination regulations and integration of curriculum reform were discussed, focusing on the grouping and teaching process of clinical probation courses. Finally, experts unanimously agreed to launch the reform of clinical probation course teaching, strengthen examination management, and carry out the pilot reform of clinical integration course.
Seminar on teaching reform of clinical medicine
On July 23, the College also hired professors of clinical internal medicine, using standardized patients to organize eight students of Grade 2015 to participate in the simulation of bedside teaching (clinical probation) process according to the revised clinical probation norms, and videotaped the whole process. Later, it will be produced into teaching videos for the training of clinical teachers.
On the 23-24 day of July, vice president Gong Aihua communicated with the leaders of the affiliated hospitals and Affiliated People's Hospital respectively on the contents of the collective preparation of clinical teachers, and reached a consensus on the teaching reform and development plan of clinical medicine.
At the same time, the Faculty of the college organized 68 pages of compendium of clinical teachers' collective lesson preparation documents, including four parts, namely, clinical medical professional accreditation and medical education reform, clinical probation teaching reform, examination and assessment method, and clinical integrated curriculum system reform. This document systematically summarizes the reform work since the accreditation of clinical medicine specialty, and also elaborates the development and reform of clinical medicine specialty. It is helpful for clinical teachers to further deepen their understanding of the training objectives and programs of clinical medicine specialty, strengthen the communication and communication between basic and clinical teachers, and change the teaching concept, improve teaching methods and has a guiding significance for opening up specialty construction and curriculum construction.

After an hour's lecture, all the teachers moved to the classroom of Beigu School District Clinical Skills Training Center to prepare lessons collectively.
