To give students the chance to study the fundamentals of suturing, IMSA recently held a surgical skills workshop on 23rd November , a surgeon with years of expertise in the field, led the workshop. Students were able to hone their technique during the session with the help of teacher, who gave them insightful criticism and pointers to help them get better.
Since suturing is a basic component of all surgical procedures, it is a crucial skill for any prospective surgeon. Effective suturing techniques can mean the difference between a successful procedure and the patient experiencing problems.
