Department of Hematology & Laboratory Hematology is a teaching and research group of Medical Science and Laboratory Medicine School, Jiangsu University .The department undertakes the tasks of theoretic and practice teaching of such major coursess as hematology & laboratory hematology ,laboratory medicine, and clinical diagnostic thinking in laboratory medicine and clinical medicine for full-time 5-year program,4-year program students. Besides, the department also undertakes the tasks of teaching in postgraduate education and adult education.
The department pays special heed to demand of teaching, strengthens management of teaching quality of undergraduates and promotes PBL teaching and education reform focused on clinical ability education. In recent years, several education research papers have been published and two awards for outstanding teaching achievements have been won at province levels. Besides, Hematology & Laboratory Hematology was a first class excellent course of Jiangsu Province in 2010. Professor Xu Wenrong was teaching famous teacher of Jiangsu University. The department pays close attention to mesenchymal stem cell, thrombosis and hemostasis, and molecular cancer biology in science research, and many research paper have been published. Facing new development and new opportunities, our department will continue to explore and adopt new idea of teaching, making efforts to train high-level medical personnel.
