Young Teacher Won the First Prize in The National Competition

    In order to further accumulate teaching experience and promote the continuous improvement of teaching quality and level, on October 18-20, 2019, For the first time, the medical college organized clinical teachers to participate in the program sponsored by the medical education branch of the Chinese Medical Association and the medical education professional committee of the Chinese society of higher education "The 9th national competition of basic teaching skills for young teachers in medical (pharmaceutical) colleges and universities". This competition is recognized as the highest level, the most influential and the most extensive competition in higher medical education.

    Professor Kou Ling, an affiliated hospital selected by our school, with her deep and profound knowledge in the clinical medicine course "Acute ST segment elevation myocardial infarction" gave a brilliant explanation. The course design was rigorous and scientific. There was vivid and humorous interaction between teachers and students and her teaching style was calm. Through the evaluation of teaching plan, expert evaluation and student evaluation, we ranked first place in the third prize of clinical group in this competition.

    Our school has always attached great importance to the cultivation of young teachers. Every two years, we hold a teacher teaching competition, So far, it has been held for nine times, aiming to promote teaching by competition, encourage teachers to devote more energy to education and teaching, and improve the teaching ability and level of young teachers. The contestant, Ms. Kou Ling, was the outstanding one this time in the school competition. In view of this competition, the teaching office of Medical College and the team of teacher education development center discussed with Ms. Kou Ling on the integration of teaching content, teaching plan writing, teaching methods, teacher-student interaction, courseware making and other links, and sent staff to complete the service work of the competition. Through the unremitting efforts of the team, with her solid teaching basic skills, rich clinical experience and knowledge, she has won the praise of the evaluation experts, student judges and participating colleges.
