From November 22 to 24, the first "people's health cup" teaching competition for young teachers majoring in health inspection and quarantine was held in Nanjing Medical University. The competition is sponsored by the people's Health Press, and jointly organized by the school of public health of Nanjing Medical University, the school of public health of Hebei Medical University and the inspection and quarantine society of Hebei Province.
The competition consisted of two parts: physicochemical health inspection and microbiological health inspection. After multiple rounds of selection, 54 teachers from 29 colleges and universities with more than three years of health inspection and quarantine graduates in China finally displayed their talents on the three foot platform, and 120 teachers from 21 colleges and universities participated in the observation. Under the leadership of Professor Lu Rongzhu, the Head of the Department, two teachers, Shen Haijun and Wang Yan, from the Department of preventive medicine and health inspection of our school, won the first prize of the health physicochemical inspection group and the second prize of the health microbiological inspection group after a day and a half of intense competition.
Quality is the lifeline of medical personnel training, and classroom is an important carrier of knowledge transfer and interaction between teachers and students. The Department of preventive medicine and health examination paid full attention to the contest and was strongly supported by the teacher education development center of the college. During the trial lectures before the contest, experienced professional teachers were invited who made invaluable comments and gave specific guidance on courseware, teaching plan, teaching ideas and language skills.
