The 6th Jinshan Forum of International Laboratory Medicine of Jiangsu University

From October 23 to October 25, the 6th "Jinshan forum" of international laboratory medicine of Jiangsu University - the academic conference of molecular markers of exosomes was held in Zhaohe Crowne Plaza, Zhenjiang. The theme of this conference was "innovation, exchange, exploration and development". The conference was sponsored by the medical department of Medical College of Jiangsu University and the editorial department of Journal of clinical laboratory science and, co sponsored by the office of Zhenjiang talent and leadership group, Jiangsu province Medical Association clinical laboratory and Zhenjiang Key Laboratory of exosomes foundation and transformation application. The conference invited 2013 Nobel Prize winners in physiology or medicine, Thomas sudhof of Stanford University School of medicine; Kazuo Kinoshita of Shiga County Medical Center, Japan; David parkison of University of Plymouth medical school; Xiaosheng Wu of Mayo Clinic; Guangyong pen of University of St. Louis medical school; Yinyuan Mo of Cancer Research Institute, University of Mississippi Medical Center; and Jie song of University of Emory and 10 invited experts made wonderful conference reports. More than 300 experts and scholars from China, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States, as well as representatives of graduate students at home and abroad, attended the meeting.

The opening ceremony of the forum was held in Zhaohe Crowne Plaza, Zhenjiang, on the morning of October 24. The opening ceremony was presided over by Zhang Xu, vice dean of Medical College of Jiangsu University.

Xu Wenrong, Dean of the Medical College of Jiangsu University and Chairman of the conference, gave a welcome speech, warmly welcoming the arrival of experts and scholars from home and abroad and the representatives of graduate students, and introduced the basic situation of teaching, scientific research and discipline construction of medical specialty in our university.

Professor Yan Xiaohong, President of Jiangsu University, on behalf of all the teachers and students of Jiangsu University, extended a warm welcome to the experts, scholars and graduate students present at the meeting, introduced the history, discipline construction and advantages of the majors of our university, hoped that the experts and scholars present at the meeting and Jiangsu University would further strengthen cooperative research, and wished the forum a complete success.

Below are the excellent reports of the forum.

Professor Thomas sudhof, 2013 Nobel Prize winner in physiology or medicine of Stanford University School of medicine, made a wonderful report on "stem cell biology and neuroscience: opportunities for basic and clinical transformation research".

Professor Kazuo kinnoshita of Japan systematically introduced the research results of the research team, introduced the construction of AID knockout mouse model in detail, and studied the important role of AID in the transformation of immunoglobulin categories. At the same time, he believes that AID is equally important in the development of tumors.

Professor Dun Xinpeng of School of medicine, University of Plymouth, reported on the role of classical axon guidance molecules in peripheral nerve regeneration. He studied the important role of Schwann cells in the model of peripheral nerve transection and found that the expression of slit3 / Robo1 gene can make Schwann cells pass through and stay in the nerve bridge and promote peripheral nerve regeneration.

Professor Peng Guangyong, School of medicine, St. Louis University, introduced the role of aging T cells in tumor microenvironment, and pointed out that aging T cells can be used as targets of tumor immunotherapy. Tumor infiltrating Treg cells induce DNA damage of effector T cells through competition of glucose metabolism, and then mediate T cell aging. At the same time, it induces tumor immunosuppressive microenvironment. Trl8 signal plays an important role in sugar metabolism of Treg cells.
