On the morning of October 14, the medical college successfully held a symposium on education of overseas students in No.423 conference room. The conference was attended by Dean of overseas education college Gao Jing and relevant leaders in charge, Dean Xu Wenrong of medical college and Vice Dean of Medical College Gong Aihua , Deputy director of medical department Shao Qixiang, , Vice Dean of Affiliated People's Hospital Qian Wei , Director of affiliated Jiangbin hospital Chen Mingjun, and teachers' representatives. The symposium was presided over by Dean Xu Wenrong.
At the symposium, with the issue of improving the quality and efficiency of overseas students' Education in China as the main topic, as well as the general objectives of the annual work, everyone expressed their own views and spoke freely. Especially in view of the current situation of MBBS education, from theoretical teaching in classrooms to clinical practice in hospitals, from stimulating students' interest in learning to educational teaching reform, from improving students' quality to improving teachers' ability, from the guidance and leadership of college and university to the cooperation and implementation of teaching in hospitals, from daily teaching operation to improving rules and regulations, so as to face the problems and shortcomings of "teaching", "learning" and "management", and explore methods and measures for improvement. Based on the practical work, combined with the advanced experience and management system of foreign schools, the participants made suggestions, and reached three consensus: First, learn from the homogenization operation mechanism of undergraduate education, epxlore the measures of "convergence of Chinese and foreign" teaching and management; Second, strengthen the teacher education development center of Medical College, promote the education and teaching reform with the project as the carrier, and improve the teacher's ability; Third, build an integrated platform for Chinese and foreign student education and exchange with subject competition and student activities as the starting point.
Through the forum, the current situation of overseas students' Education in China, the work objectives and requirements, and responsibilities and coordination and cooperation of all relevant departments have become more clarified
