From July 26 to 28, 2019, the 12th National Medical Experimental Teaching Seminar and the 14th Meeting of the Basic Medicine Group of the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center was held in Chengdu, which was sponsored by the Basic Medicine Group of the Joint Conference of the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Colleges and Universities. There were more than 600 representatives from nearly 120 universities in China attended the meeting. Professor Gong Aihua, Vice President of Medical College of our university, led the team to attend the meeting. Through on-line evaluation and on-site defense, the project "Virtual Experiment of Integrated Heart Failure Medicine" led by Professor Gong Aihua, Xu Xiao Vice-Director of Basic Medicine Department, Professor Jiang Ping and Dr Sun Tao, Vice-Director of Cardiology Department of Affiliated Hospital, stood out among dozens of participating medical colleges in China and won the second prize (eighth place). Through this competition, peer exchange experience and comments from experts has laid the foundation for further optimizing the construction of virtual simulation experiment teaching project and declaring provincial projects.
