From March 15 to 17, 2019, the Fifth Party Branch of Medical College faculty and the Student League Branch of Health Inspection launched a "new semester, new journey" party and League building activity. Through the activities of the Party Branch and the class, a warm collective atmosphere was created, students' psychological sense of belonging was enhanced, students' thoughts were guided, students' learning and Practice were guided, and the goal of improving the comprehensive quality of college students was achieved.
On the afternoon of the 15th, Class 1801 and Class 1601 first reviewed, exchanged and shared their winter vacation life. Every student showed the development and changes of his hometown with beautiful and generous PPT, especially the earth-shaking changes in the past 40 years of reform and opening-up, from poverty to food and clothing to being financially well-off, from dirt road to cement road to high-speed railway, and drinking water from ditch and pond water to well water to tap water. Some students' hometown has applied for the top 100 counties and civilized cities in the whole country. Everyone felt unanimously the achievements of socialist construction under the leadership of the Party; then it introduces the completion of its winter vacation study plan, from washing and cooking household work, tourist sightseeing of the great rivers and mountains of the motherland , reviewing and previewing professional courses, preparing for college entrance examination to reading famous works and novels, achieveing a real combination of work and leisure, and finally shared their winter vacation professional internship situation.. With the question of what to do in the future, how to do well and how to prepare well for the major of health inspection and quarantine, all the students visited the local CDC, customs and hospitals for field research and internship. While they were warmly received by CDC and other units, they also reported the current situation of the health inspection profession and the local CDC employment needs, Knowing that the major has good prospects, a large demand for talents and a high level enhances the students'recognition and belonging to the major they have studied, and increases their confidence and goal of studying hard and further studying in graduate school. Finally, the teachers'Party representatives commented on the students' reports and offered hope for further study and promotion. In addition, the Party members expressed that they had a better understanding of the development of various parts of the country through the introduction of their classmates, and deeply felt the importance of "fighting poverty" during the two sessions of the CPC Central Committee. Under the new situation, under the leadership of the Party, our hometown will surely continue to develop everyday.
In order to further strengthen exchanges, on the afternoon of sunny March 17, class 1801 and class 1701 jointly organized a group activity on the beautiful campus lawn. They warmed up in the way of games, after the students were familiar with each other, they had face-to-face exchanges about the study, life, community during the university life and other topics, everybody actively indulged themselves in the activity, enjoyed themselves during the exchange, and finally took a group photo as souvenir.
This Party-League co-construction activity is planned and organized by the Fifth Party Branch of the faculty and the Students'League Branch of Class 1801, 1701 and 1601 of the Health Inspection Department. It creates a good collective atmosphere, deepens the feelings between teachers and students, strengthens the sense of belonging and cohesion of the health inspection and quarantine major, and plays a good guiding role in students' thinking, learning and even practice. In this activity, the Party members of the branch, combining the characteristics of the major of health inspection and quarantine, has an opportunity to combine and promote professional learning and political literacy, have a good exploration significance for the cultivation and education of College students.
