The Medical College organized an open lecture for international students and the entire faculty. The lecture was conducted by Professor Ju Xiaoli from the Department of Pathology, covering the fundamental concepts, pathological characteristics, and prevention strategies of hypertension. Through vivid case analyses, Professor Ju helped the international students gain a deeper understanding of the pathology of hypertension.
The lecture was interactive, featuring multiple engagement opportunities that led to a lively atmosphere and frequent interactions among participants. Both the international students and the attending faculty members highly praised the open lecture. They noted that, in addition to acquiring professional knowledge in pathology, they also deepened their understanding of disease prevention and treatment concepts across different cultural backgrounds.
The Medical College plans to continue hosting similar open lectures and aims to expand the scope of the courses to cover more medical fields. This initiative aims to satisfy the international students’ thirst for professional knowledge and to continuously improve the quality and level of medical education in China for international students.
