June 19th, Ms. Xu Xiao，a teacher from pharmacology department, medical school, won the second prize of The First MBBS Teachers Teaching Competition held in Guangzhou by National MBBS Teaching Committee.
This is the first time of the national teaching competition in all qualified medical schools with MBBS project. Aimed at the promotion of teaching quality, this competition provided a good opportunity for MBBS teachers to study and communicate. More than 40 medical schools from all over the country participated in the competition and showed their best teacher’s professional and charming teaching.
Ms. Xu Xiao, who is one of the most liked MBBS teachers and “Top Ten Popular Teachers in Jiangsu University”, participated in the competition with a lecture about “The pharmacology of insulin”. She won the prize not only because of the fluent spoken English and confident charm, but also the brilliant explanation to make a complicated professional issue easy to be understood, and thus acquire most of the students and experts judges’ affirmation. Ms. Xu’s award show young teacher’s good demeanors in Jiangsu University, and also demonstrates our school’s teaching level in MBBS project.
