The discipline of human anatomy and histology and embryology is an important discipline of basic medicine. The discipline was combined by the two,the discipline of Human Anatomy and The discipline of Histology and Embryology. The discipline was ratified to confer Master's Degree in 2003. The discipline was assessed as the school Key Discipline in 1999. Now there are 2 professors and 4 associate professors, of whom are master supervisors, 6 lecturers, and 3 technicians in the department. For a long time, with a variety of resources, The discipline has developed the systemic researches focusing on the neural mechanisms, tumor arising mechanisms and clinical and imaging anatomy.
