Overseas Postgraduate Students Scholarship
Chapter 1: General
(1) This scholarship is set for the excellent overseas postgraduate students in School of Medicine, Jiangsu University.
(2) The contest is organized based on "justice, publicity and fairness". The Overseas Education Office is responsible for the whole process.
Chapter 2: Qualification
(3) Applicants should have good moral character and discipline of the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and the university.
(4) Applicants should perform well in the study, with excellent academic records.
(5) Applicants should be physically and mentally healthy. Keep the dormitory tidy, and actively participate in social activities.
(6) Those who have the following cases can not apply for this scholarship: In violation of China laws and regulations, have been punished by the public security departments; broke the rules and regulations of the university; not qualified in the examination and evaluation; improper words and deeds that cause bad social influence to the university.
Chapter 3: Procedure
(7) Candidates who meet the requirements should submit the application form and related materials to the Overseas Education Office between October 1st and October 31st every year.
(8) After checking the submitted materials, the Overseas Education Office will organize an assessment for the candidates. Based on the achievements in scientific research (60%) and social activities (40%), the candidates will be ranked. The study records for last academic year will be referred to. Those who failed or did not get grades for already opened courses due to personal reasons will be excluded.
(9) The scholarship is set as follows: 1st level (1 student), 3000 RMB/student; 2nd level (2 students), 2000 RMB/student; 3rd level (3 students), 1000 1MB/student. The number of scholarship winner and the amount of scholarship could be adjusted according to the number of applicants and the quality of achievements.
(10) The list of scholarship winners will be put on the school’s website for 3 working days. The final list will be announced before December and simultaneously submitted to OEC.
(11) A scholarship award ceremony will be held for the winners. The scholarship will be given to the winners within one month.

(12) The School of Medicine reserves the right for explanation.
